It's a little strange being back in the city of harsh realities and much growth. God has trained me in this city to grow up, to grow in ministry, in character, in life responsibilities. I am very grateful. Yet, I do not exactly love this city and its memories. They hold much pain...
Can growth ever happen without pain?
I think it will be a long time before I grow nostalgic for Brisbane. For one, I'm still here...:P
Routine is slowly coming back. I mean life is quite alright, despite the fact that Sophia and I are still homeless. Doyin has provided us with temporary accomodation, thank God for that and for her generosity. Today, I want to specially thank Allister as well, for being so kind and so willing to drive Sophia and I around for inspections and business issues [like storage extensions etc].
Lord God, please do grant us a house ASAP....by next week.
And the gorgeous pineland's sushi we had....AH.that is one of the best things Brisbane offers...
Working, going to lifegroup, Church is tomorrow. :).....Meeting all my students again. It was good to have a break. I view them now with fresher enthusiasm and vision. Challenging them to set goals and enrich their lives.Hehehe.
Back in Doyin's house, throwing pillows at my dear sheep, Jess, trying to cook rice cakes.
It's a lot less stressful without uni. I can actually go to work and not be already tired and stressed by lectures and homework.
Taking things calmly.....a lot more calmly than 2 years ago....or even 1 year ago. God. There is a strange hesitance in my heart to open myself to anyone about what happened in the holidays. But Lead me and guide me God....I cannot go on without You.
