I had meetings ALL day today. Networking and meeting new people, and keeping up with older contacts is all part of the job. Today, I had dinner with Pastor Sai Song. I want to record his quick prophecy over me at the end of the dinner. "God has given you the gift of the word of revelation. It seems like you have 'let loose' a little and not practiced this gift much. The stuff you receive has been a bit blurry. The Lord wants you to start practicing again. "Follow your favour" Favour : to  regard with especial kindness or approva l;   a condition of being regarded with approval or good will;   to support; to advocate;  an act performed out of good will, generosity, or mercy There is a certain quality of life that you experience in your favour. Following your favour answers the question of "What am I to point my life at? Where do I throw my life's energies? What am I to lock on to?".  Recognize more and more what that favour is. What is the activity that I do that makes me soften towards me? That elicits a kind response, a softening, w welcoming response? Are there certain things that I do that people say 'Amen' to when you do it or talk about it? What is the thing that you do that people are energised at this idea, at this conversation? Where do you sense God's pleasure in the activties of my life? Pay attention to the places where you feel an ease, a pleasure, a harmony....so often we are captured b...

"Ordinary People" It's been a crazy few days emotionally. Man, 'showbiz' can take it's toll on you! A little taste of it and I'm already spinning around, wondering what to do with my roller-coaster feelings. It's no wonder so many ppl in showbiz go into rehab, get suicidal or something bad and drastic. Or they quit and retire.  On one hand, I had my first pseudo-negative comment on Youtube today. By a friend. An honest comment. He didn't like it and he's entitled to his opinion. And then I had half-compliments from Facebook friends, "Oo..I like your singing but only the Malay half of the song you sang". And on Youtube, someone deliberately created an account today just to like the 'Ordinary People' video above. The same person commented that they loved Ray [didn't say anything about me...but at least they didn't comment anything negative]. And this person went to my GOOD TV link and said, "I like Charis singing ...

It's been a while since I've met up with my previous mentor, Peter Truong . The way God linked us up to be mentor-mentee was really divine...way back in 2003/2004. It has been one of the most important ministry relationships I've had in my whole life. Under Peter, I literally saw someone moving from glory to glory in his ministry, and bringing those under him together with him. He's in Fiji now. He appeared on Facebook chat, saying hi. And I kiddingly asked for a prophetic word, since it was Peter that gave me opportunities to be trained up in this area. He seriously prayed for a few minutes and gave me this. I am giving you a voice to use it for my glory. As you remain humble in me, I will promote you in the nations. It is is my doing and not your doing.
