"Follow your favour"

• Favour: to regard with especial kindness or approval; a condition of being regarded with approval or good will; to support; to advocate; an act performed out of good will, generosity, or mercy
• There is a certain quality of life that you experience in your favour. Following your favour answers the question of "What am I to point my life at? Where do I throw my life's energies? What am I to lock on to?". Recognize more and more what that favour is.
• What is the activity that I do that makes me soften towards me? That elicits a kind response, a softening, w welcoming response? Are there certain things that I do that people say 'Amen' to when you do it or talk about it? What is the thing that you do that people are energised at this idea, at this conversation? Where do you sense God's pleasure in the activties of my life? Pay attention to the places where you feel an ease, a pleasure, a harmony....so often we are captured by things that we don't have favour, and longing for things that we do have favour in. 
• It's God's will that we have the favour of God and man. Both Samuel and Jesus grew in that favour. 
• Just purely doing something for money [especially when you hate it] is probably leaning on your own understanding. Trust in the Lord with all your heart [Pro3:5-6], and trust God to lead you into your favour.
• In your favour, there can be your greatest frustrations. In that place you love so much, it's commonly a place where you have to face greatest obstacles. this is because you want this area of your life to be successful. Because you want what is at the end of this road. You have what it takes to face these challenges like few other things. So of COURSE there will be frustrations, but facing such frustrations in your favour is like sweating when you're running towards your goal in the last lap, but you're in first place. Few things are exciting as that. 
• Your favour is a super-powerful component to your success. But it is your skills, your understanding, it is the wisdom that you've acquired through experiences that will move you through the room. Your favour opens doors. Then, you will be drawn upon, and what will be on display is your diligence up till this point. Your diligence will reward you or you go back to the level that you were back on. Like a video game. You move to a new level and 'boom' you die! The next time you come back and you avoid being killed, and you stay on that level. Then something else kills you. And then you're back on the previous level again, till you learn how to move on this level with skill and wisdom. 
• Sometimes you need a prophet to see your favour. David did. But he followed his favour! 
• When you look at favour, you'll see how it took you from level to level. You have to remember each previous level that God brought you through, and it will motivate you to get through the next level. Remember when you thought you'd never get through a particular level, but God brought you through anyway while you. As you remember your history, it will propel you into your destiny. 
• A person who partners with God's favour is cultivating God's heart in their lives. The process of capturing that favour, following that favour; that is the process of knitting God's heart to your heart. What is His favour on your life? What is the inner momentum that is carrying me through future challenges?
• Any key with dealing with abundance is purpose. You can't do 40 things well.
• Here is the heart of the Father towards his kids, "There's nothing that I have that I don't want you to have."
• Aside note: Marriage/parenting = committing your life to someone's benefit. 
• It is painful to watch someone you love not know what they want, and have a life that's sprawled over and not focused. To pour your resources into THAT person's life would mess it up more.  It adds to the confusion in their lives. 
• When you see someone moving in the momentum of their favour, whatever you add to it, they are going to multiply. 
• "Show me what you will do with this" God is looking at our stewardship of His favour. 
• What is it that I do evokes God's pleasure in my life?
• Favour is grace. But it is actually the START of the most work that needs to be done. 

Wow....I had to rewind, stop start again with Danny Silk's latest sermon. The last one also hit me hard, "Hope Happens". Lots to think about.
