I had a packed day. But it was heaps of fun!
Waking up at 8.30am, Barbara sent us to Sunnybank, saving us the trek there. Thanks Barbara!
I taught for an hour, was fed delicious custard Danish and tea, and Rach picked me up.
Rach and I then had a sumptous home-made breakfast[made by moi] in my house, which is very nice btw. One of the great gifts from God. It remains airy and cool in the hot weather. It's pretty and well-maintained. It's reasonably priced. Thanks God!MWAH, big kiss from me. And another big kiss for a friend like Rach. We had a good fat chat.
Anne came for her lesson at 12pm. It's a privilege to teach people how to play for church, especially when I have had prob 10 years of experience with playing in worship teams. It's quite amazing, how God has grown me in this ministry [mainly heart attitudes and character].
Kev then came for lunch. Phil and Kev have been gems in the area of preparing for my next few steps in singing and songwriting and recording. Thanks for being so generous with your time and effort.
Tea at 4pm with Andrew and Jo. It's been ages since I've met up with my band mates from Dancing about Architecture. It was good to catch up. I pray sincerely now that they will come to know Jesus as their Lord, Saviour and Friend. Often, people seem so far away. But that's what prayer is for....
7pm came and I met with Dan for dinner. Hadn;t seen him for a while. The discussion of doctrines and balance was particularly good.
Then I was off to Lai Ling's for a session of catch up. The patience and the love of this woman is astounding. I think, through her, and through Eureka, God is bringing healing in many unsettled areas of my life through the years of built up hurts and resentment in ministry and in general relationships.
I love days like that. I love people. I love doing life with people. And I love God being involved in it all.
Good night.
