I'm still a little tired from the exhausting Hong Kong and Malaysia run of Omni Kids Tour. Not that it wasn't fun and fulfilling. Stressful to boot. I found that living constantly with 12 other people really grated on my nerves. In Taiwan, I'm used to being alone so much of the time that this was a shock to my system.
But I thank God for the opportunity to live communally with a lot of people. I reasoned to myself that it is good training for future tours, which might be even more grinding. Also, this trip really helped the team bond in special ways. It was privilege to get to know the kids in the team better, and have them get to know me better as well. The simple affection/devotion of kids is a precious, precious thing to have. I also got to know some of the others better, particularly TC, Ange and YY.
It is my second day back in Taipei. I really should be unpacking, folding laundry, catching up on work etc. But life in Taipei sometimes daunts me to the point of paralysis. I busy myself with lots of bits and pieces or chores that ultimately bring me no further forward. Of course the muggy, HOT weather does not help in the least. This really must change.
There is so much that needs to be done. Sigh.
I'll update more about the trip later.
