Thanks 'With'.....

I really appreciate my life-group. You know you're with the right people when you enjoy the moments you spend with them thoroughly, and the time spent leaves you feeling edified. Some friends...they are great people and also good occasional companions. But time with them leaves you feeling drained, or feeling like you've indulged in too much junk food for the day. But yea, thanks for being simple, direct, beautiful people 'With'. We're all in this journey WITH Jesus and WITH each other.

Prophecy from Pete

It's been a while since I've met up with my previous mentor, Peter Truong . The way God linked us up to be mentor-mentee was really divine...way back in 2003/2004. It has been one of the most important ministry relationships I've had in my whole life. Under Peter, I literally saw someone moving from glory to glory in his ministry, and bringing those under him together with him. He's in Fiji now. He appeared on Facebook chat, saying hi. And I kiddingly asked for a prophetic word, since it was Peter that gave me opportunities to be trained up in this area. He seriously prayed for a few minutes and gave me this. I am giving you a voice to use it for my glory. As you remain humble in me, I will promote you in the nations. It is is my doing and not your doing. Acknowledge me in all your ways and I will open all kinds of doors for you my daughter. Amen!!! R emembers...God will open all kinds of doors in music, not just one door, so be open to God leading. May Your will be ...

Creative Freedom

The great things about coming to Taiwan is the broadening of my artistic perspective. I get to hear so many stories of different artists, both good and bad. I get to meet so different types of people, and I get to see music and art in a very different way from Malaysians or Australians. Granted, a lot of the pop here is very formulaic and frankly quite boring. The indie and underground artists are actually more creative and fresh. It's been great meeting both kinds of artists. But when you find out what a pop celebrity has to endure to get to where they are, you do give them kudos for wanting it THAT much, and working THAT hard. I'm still thinking...do I actually want to be an artist that becomes a celebrity? I'm still wondering and praying and deciding. So far, it's been exposure and research and talking to many different people about their experiences. It's great....knowing more, feeling more grounded, feeling less lost about this whole thing that was so aery-fa...

This should not be me in 8 years.

" I'm a 8 year old singer, how does that sound? Singing pop songs at 29 with no real motive in life, doing what i can for my art, trying to make sense of the world so as to justify my job as someone influential. " Taken from a Singaporean singer's blog .

More Faith....in a GOOD GOD

Today, Miss '爆炸头' - a.k.a Winnie, a chick with a HUGE afro-ish Scary Spice hair-do prayed for me. She doesn't know me, but turned around after service and offered to pray for me. A few things came up during the prayer. She didn't specifically prophesy. But the way she was praying, she was getting stuff from the Spirit. She prayed Prov 4:18 ( The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day)  over me, for some time, stating that God would lead me, and the path would become brighter and brighter, clearer and clearer. I was to have faith. More faith that God would lead me safely and surely. She also stated the need to seek God even more through prayer for his presence and guidance (guilty. It's been difficult to be disciplined about prayer). She prayed and declared that my work would be the platform for many good things God wanted to do through me. The work and the position I had in my work was important, she...
