Gifts.....

A lot of grace and favour from God and people lately. An abundance of gifts - gorgeous earrings from life-group leader, hand bags from Sophie, dress and necklace from Eva, lovely fruits from Pastor Caleb, dinners from Wen Ci... And a big discount from the recording studio, mainly because TC worked out a deal with them, and also because he engineered the project, thus saving on recording engineer costs. The blessings of God are abundant...

天父爸爸都知道~Daddy God knows~

Every once in while, there are those ppl who see your soul's depths.  They cherish and caress what they see there...and bless your life.  Thank you.... Eva的角色只是hear me out~~支持我,為我代禱。

Savage Creative Studio Sessions

My days have been filled with activity since I returned to Taipei  [Well, they were filled with activity in HK and M'sia too]. I haven't caught my breath since I've gotten back yet...But I'm relatively pleased with how things are going.  One of the coolest things that has been happening is that suddenly I've been able to track some stuff for my upcoming albums. My American muso friends are here for their annual ministry trips to Taiwan, and my mentor, Jeff prodded me to book them for 2 days. It felt a little surreal, tracking in the studios with a bunch of Americans. All those people who were in there with me, I was musing about how we all met and how divine all these appointments have been. I've met so many great and skillful people here. Thank God for each and everyone of them. Special thanks to Jeff for linking me up with these great session players, and for helping me so much with pre-production. And special thanks to TC, who helped me booked the studio, e...

Looked after...

Which is worse: Coming from a broken home, or having no arms and legs? Which is more painful: Being mentally retarded or in depression? Everyone has their own pain, their own struggles and issues.  Having no limbs is a struggle that is just a lot more obvious. It's a little more than a week since I've come back to the TP. August will be full on. I'm in Tainan and Hsinchu on the weekend for the Taiwan leg of the Omni Tour. Then I'll be heading straight into the studio to track drums and bass with Jaben and Sam. I go to GOOD TV for a back-up vocal stint [filling in for someone else]. And then there's co-leading a worship session at the worship festival at Green Bay. Busy busy. But at least things are happening. New website is going up soon as well! And my new FB fanpages, Weibo, Tuduo and all that have to be set up. This is SO much work!!!! But, I do thank God for TC, who's really taken upon himself to be older brother and help me out heaps. Helping me get a ...

Paralysis

In our HK dorm Langkawi was beautiful In FGC, Alor Setar I'm still a little tired from the exhausting Hong Kong and Malaysia run of Omni Kids Tour. Not that it wasn't fun and fulfilling. Stressful to boot. I found that living constantly with 12 other people really grated on my nerves. In Taiwan, I'm used to being alone so much of the time that this was a shock to my system.  But I thank God for the opportunity to live communally with a lot of people. I reasoned to myself that it is good training for future tours, which might be even more grinding. Also, this trip really helped the team bond in special ways. It was privilege to get to know the kids in the team better, and have them get to know me better as well. The simple affection/devotion of kids is a precious, precious thing to have. I also got to know some of the others better, particularly TC, Ange and YY.  It is my second day back in Taipei. I really should be unpacking, folding laundry, catching up on work etc. ...

Soulmate

I'm a little too exhausted mentally and physically to write about the tour. And there's the Taiwan leg to prepare for as well. Finished the tour with 3 resounding thoughts: I really want to make it as a singer-songwriter. And I really want discover my soulmate. And above all, God is still my destiny. "Who doesn't long for someone to hold? Who knows how to love you without with being told... Somebody tell me why I'm on my own if there's a soulmate for everyone."

Off again - HK and Malaysia!!

Tomorrow, I will land in Hong Kong for the first time. I'm touring with the kids ministry, OmniPro productions again. This time, the tour is much longer. It's Omni's first step outside Taiwan. And the Malaysian tour was mainly organised by my Dad. So more prancing around with a note on my head, and a fake keyboard on my arm. Benefits from this ministry experience? I get to practice stage performing and acting in Chinese. Haven't done too much of acting or memorizing lines in Chinese in my life, so this is good training. Observing, and performing with other people who are way more natural at hosting and acting than I am is also very good practice for my future stage skills.  To be honest, I love the stage, but conditionally. I love it when everything is in it's right place [like audience that is not bored or hostile or un-relatable], or I love it when I know what I'm doing up there. One of the more traumatic stage experiences I had was when I was 13, I was semi...
